Founded in 1983, IndyDancers is great Indianapolis, Indiana based not-for-profit social dance club. The club meets at different locations each Tuesday, and the first and third Saturdays 7:00 pm (please check times) for fun dancing, free dance lessons, and many "special dances" and events through out the 70+ event year.) Swing, West Coast Swing, Cha Cha, Nightclub dancing, Hustle, some ballroom, and country dancing, but mostly just a lot fun!. This club has over 300 members and growing fast, singles and couples are welcome (Please check age requirement as it varies at the different venues.) Indianapolis Indiana Chapter Heartland Chapter, USA Dance Inc. organizes and fosters social dances and charitable events via its local chapters. Many chapters offer low-cost lessons at these events. Beginners as well as advanced dancers are welcome... it's a great way to meet new friends and get good exercise at the same time!

Get on I-70 East, and get off at the Illinois St. exit. Turn left off the exit ramp. Turn left onto Washington St. The ballroom is in the Indiana Repertory Theatre, on the north side of the street. Their Big Band Dances are characterized by LOTS of foxtrot and swing.
